Default List of early offset after market wheels?

Hello all,

Does anyone know if there is a definitive list of which after market 15 inch wheels are a straight fit onto an early offset (ET23) car?

I'm looking for something to fit up with some track specific tyres so want a spare set. I'm not a stickler for originality (and they won't get used all that often) so am considering after market wheels.

Do Compomotive, BBS etc make anything in the 23mm offset?

Any tips much appreciated.

Ben

If you are looking for something cheap, it is tough to beat the stock cookie cutters. I've seen sets go for $150.

Default wheels

A set of 15x7 Cookie cutter or Phone dials would be the most economical. They are getting more pricey and the cheap ones will need a complete refurb.

However there are quite a few afternarket 15x7 Fuchs out there I have one I am selling for $75 without the center cap. and have seen quite a few on eBay etc,

Thanks very much gents.

I'm in the UK so the world of cheap and easy Porsche wheels is a bit far away.

I already have a grand total of 9 Cookie Cutters so was wondering if a change may be good.

Will have a look at some of the D90s, see if they work out cost efficient.

I love the Fuchs but even the replicas here in England go for about $600 for a set of 4. Original staggered 8s and 9s would cost me about £2200+ for 4.

A bunch of us racers over in Canada ordered some custom 15 x 8 Jongbloed Racing wheels for our SP2 944's ,they came out to $1150.00 dollars Canadian a set shipping included.
I believe Phil's Tire ,a sponsor on this site ??? carries them as well ...

Cheers

That sounds pretty good, £645 in our cash. Will drop them a line. Thanks, appreciate it.

Compomotive, BBS, CCW, Speedline, etc. can build wheels to a custom spec. CCW probably has the best prices.

D90's are 16" and the wrong offset.

Is compomotive still in business?

I love rally and turbo style wheels but I heard they went under and there really isn't anyone else that makes them at an affordable price.

Yep!

Ronal R50's are also a well-known, similar wheel. They are now being remade.

Rotiform and Fifteen52 make a similar wheel as well.

Rotiform:

These are available in 15":

Fifteen52:

I think the Fifteen52 version is also available with functional brake fans.

My early car has the one piece BBS mesh wheels with gold centers. They are light weight too, 13-15lbs if I recall.
15x7 and 15x8.

If you like them they're for sale if you offer enough.

That's cool Compomotive is still in business. I thought I read an article a couple years ago that said they went under.

I knew about Ronal but those Rotiform and Fifteen52s are rad

HRE also makes a turbo wheel but costs big $$

Does anyone still make wheel fans? I know Livery did a short run of BBS style replica fans but I don't know of anyone else. I have to say, I'm surprised the stance crowd hasn't brought these back as a trend. Would be a wise business decision for wheel companies considering old BBS fans are going for $1k+ per set these days.

Normally Fuchs don't do it for me, I don't like them all that much, but those are sweet.
