Default 1985 1/2 944 in Mt. Airy, MD Salvage Yard

There is a red on black '85 1/2 944 in the Crazy Ray's in Mt. Airy, MD. It has been there for several weeks, so it will not likely last much longer. It is wrecked in the front. All there mechanically (manual trans). Not limited slip. Front seats are leather, passenger seat (manual) very nice, drivers seat (electric) bolsters great, but bottom needs repair.

There is also a black '87 924 S that has been there at least as long. Also manual trans, not wrecked.

Will post a few pics if my phone will cooperate.

Great info. Thanks! How was the interior on the 924S?

Wow, those are both still there? They were there months ago...

What a shame to see those cars there. I would love to buy the red one and part it out. Plenty I could use and plenty other 944 owners could use as well. That 924 S doesn't look that bad at all. Someone could have restored that car and saved it from the slow death that's creeping over it now.

Last month I was in Elwood's in Smithsburg, MD. They had these:

White car on left is a 924, car behind 928 ('79 Euro) is an early 944. They had another early 944 and three other 924s in the yard.
