How do I remove the head from a 1997 944S DOHC 14 valve engine?

Are you removing the head because it is now "14v"?

If I could type or proof read I would be dangerous.

I meant to write:

How do I remove the head from a 1997 944S DOHC 16 valve engine.

I am thinking about an engine rebuild. The overhead cams cover the head bolts. How do I get the cams out so I can gain access to the head bolts? I already removed the 8-Cam bearing caps, 4 intake, 4 exhaust.

It's a pita, you need to remove timing gear and the rear timing gear cover there are some 10mm bolts there once that's out you will remove the end bearing caps and pull the cams out
