When I did mine.. I also Painted the crest on the steering wheel.

It's the early style steering whel with a raised surface crest. Not as smooth of lines as the wheel crest but it came out rather well. I had about 3 or 4 " wipe cleans "

I need to redo my wheel caps cuz I rushed the clearcoat and probably used the wrong stuff and now it is chipping off.
