Looking for brake bleeder screw source
Hi all, my old bleeder screws are getting corroded and one has stripped a little at the hex. I want to just replace them but cant find a definite replacement part. Strangely enough, fronts are 8mm hex and rear is 7mm hex. Anyone have a source for these little buggars? Kevin

Sorry, it's a NA caliper. I didn't think the speed bleeder was a good idea. But if Van puts his seal of approval on it, that's good enough for me! Thanks guys.

Here is another option if you are interested in stainless. They also sell the caps. They are not "speed-bleeder" screws though (no check ball).

My opinion is keep it simple: get new bleeders from Porsche, they are cheap enough. Fronts are 944-351-957-00, rears are 901-352-977-10. I would not screw around with aftermarket stuff, ymmv. Put a little anti-seize on the threads (but not on the sealing cone).

The front bleeder valves are a bit pricey at $20 a pop. This is one of those cases where I'd be surprised if there isn't a $5 VW equivalent out there somewhere. Anyone have any ideas?
