Oil very low but not oil pressure warning?
My car has been leaking oil and today I checked the oil level and it was below the minimum line.
Shouldn't the oil pressure warning light come on?

I take it you don't have a late car with the oil level sensor in the sump. Only thing you can do is check it regularly.

If you see one leak, more will soon follow. The seals are rubber and they are all old and hard. It's better at this point to just do them all at once. Start with the front of the engine and do them all. To find the source of the other ones, get a flourescent dye tracer kit at the auto parts store and add it to the oil. Drive the car a hundred miles or so and then put on the magic glasses and using the magic flashlight, start following the glowing trail. Also make sure the engine is clean top to bottom before you begin this process. It's better than wasting several weekends chasing a mystery leak.

I've had four of the little o'reilley's black flashlight deals eventually i went to wally world ab bought a black light and some yellow safety goggles. It turned out to be way cheaper and alot easier to see the dye with
