Default power steering pump rebuild, what to use to clean inside

My current PS rack and pump are leaking. While I wait for my new rebuilt rack to arrive from Zims I have a 2nd pump that I would like to reseal and just hand it to the shop with the new rack.

Once I have it apart (and before I put in new seals) is it safe to use a degreaser or something to make sure it's completely free of contaminents?

I'm going to get a new reservoir just to be safe, but should I replace the hose too?

The PS lines are kinda pricey so I might reuse those unless there is good reason to keep them.

I think Acetone is the right stuff to use but you should be fine with brake clean. I've used it with no problems as well.
