Unhappy Sold the 951.

Hey guys. It's been a while since I've been on but several months ago I made a financial decision and decided that the Porsche needed to go.

I don't think the buyer has shown up on the forums yet (I've looked) and I'm not sure that he will. Hopefully the car will be in good hands, but he did not seem at all thrilled that I had installed aftermarket parts (down to the silicon vacuum hoses) on the car. Thus, I doubt he will be pushing the car to it's limits. Hopefully his family will get as much joy, if not more, as I did from owning and driving the car. My GF doesn't complain at least, she likes my truck just as well.

If anyone finds my threads all pictures and such that I've linked to will be available until IMGUR kicks the bucket. I'd suggest downloading what you can if you come across them.

Maybe one day when I win the lottery I'll buy another. Who knows.

Ya'll take care now.

Thats not great! Hope you end up with another.

You call it a "financial decision." Just wait 10 years.

Too bad, looks like pristine example..

The beauty of owning this or any other old porsche is that it does not loose value, so this was bad financial decision in the long run.

with Americans voting idiots like Obama into office to run our financial affairs,

https://rennlist.com/forums/politics...-per-year.html (US Borrowing $8 Trillion/year)

at this rate, in ten years, you'll be able to pick up a late-2000s GT2 for five hundred (inflation adjusted/2014 dollars).

Yes, but the vehicle requires maintenance and upkeep to keep it's value.

Plus, even though you can't drive a house... you can't raise a family in a car.
