My LS1 951 on the Dyno
Just got done with a bottom end rebuild, Lunati forged stroker crank (383 cu in now), forged H-beam rods and forged Wiseco pistons, and a bunch of other re-dos under the hood to help with the cooling. Result is about the same hp as before, but more torque and hopefully it will run a whole lot cooler on track... 366 rwhp and 380 rwtq. The cam is pretty mild for a 383, so lot's more hp to be gained with a hotter cam and some ls6 heads, but I think it's actually plenty for how the car's set up now (dual use street and track). Heading back to the track soon to see how it does!

Nice, that's gotta be fun to drive. Are you hitting the track anytime soon? I've been thinking about signing up for the Watkins Glen DE next month. Never been there but heard its awesome.

I was having some clutch related issues the last few months. Got the car back yesterday and its shifting great now. Need to work out a few more bugs still but hope to start making some track days when i get home again in late August. I have done a few auto-x'es with it and its incredible.
What radiator / fan combo are you running? I have the Renegade Hybrid rad which works well, though i dont think the single 16" fan is up to the task in the summer, part of the reason being a lack of a shroud. I picked up a dual 11" Spal fan setup with a shroud, it will take some work to fit but i think it should work well.

Hmmmm, that seems really low. What are the specs of the cam you're using? What's your intake/exhaust combo? Ported heads?
I made 400rwhp and 385 torque on my junkyard LS1 with factory 241 heads. I'm hoping for closer to 450rwhp with my 383/Dart Pro head combo with the same cam...

Cam is a Howards 225/229 .580/.585 114lsa 110icl
This is the same cam I used before the stroker kit. I was expecting closer to 400 rwhp. It is not tuned for max power. It is tuned for durability on a road course, so about 12.5:1 AFR and a little less timing. No expert on this stuff... Just repeating what the tuner told me.
I do appreciate what you're saying though; I'll watch for signs that a cylinder isn't firing right, etc. It sounds and feels smooth and pulls like a jet, though.
