944Fest Video is ready... BUT
OK, guys.. the vid is done.. BUT I'm having a hard time putting up somewhere it can be downloaded... My personal webspace isn't big enough. The primary file is 85,000 KB for 6:30 vid.. I have 200,000 KB webspace on rennlist but for some reason the "file upload" function isn't accepting my big upload. I've tested smaller files and they seem to work fine. Anybody have bearshare and want to try snagging it peer to peer off my machine? Anyone know the FTP addresses for rennlist.com?
Any suggestions, ideas?
TIA

OK folks, the FTP has begun. I'm sending up two clips, one my 944Fest 03 vid and the other the 944T vs a Mustang SVT on an oval. As soon as these are done, John may move it to my rennlist/944turbos site, I'll post as soon as I have a link from either. You may be able to snag it from the FTP site, I'm not sure if John wants it done that way. As for offering burnt CD's with the clips, yea, I could do it. What do we think a fair price is? 5$? (Not DVD, just CD's with big avi's or mpg's..the DVD media is too much $$$) I have some other clips I could add for filler, I suppose..
Thanks John, for the FTP..
I think you all will enjoy this.
I gotta cover my media, postage and time ya know..

OK fellas, not wanting to have someone give me an FTP 101 course but I don't know how to access FTP sites? Can someone lend me a hand please!

I use http://www.ftpx.com/ "FTP Explorer", a freebie FTP program. Fairly easy once the address and logins get entered. (File Transfer Protocol) Basically a raw data exchange to servers.. Sorry if you already new that. Good luck..

hope i don't get in trouble with this, but i assume it won't be up on the ftp very long, so while it's up...you can access it in internet explorer
type this into the address bar
ftp://64.205.178.74
then type in name/password

Dan or John,
The second vid is downloading "chipfilm", but the 944fest03 is stating "access denied".
BTW, Dan thanks for the link to the program for FTP's. I downloaded and is at least working on Chip's run on the Mustang file (at least that's what I suspect it is :-)
