Default Uh oh! Need help FAST!

Was testing intake for leaks, wiggled the wastegate vac line, and snap! off came the nipple with the wastegate line. So now I have a hole in my cycling valve... I really need to drive the car (if possible) as it is my only ride. Should I try to superglue/epoxy a piece of rigid vac line in the hole to make another nipple to go to the wastegate? Can I plug the hole in the CV and run a vac line right into the wastegate line (won't get much if any boost)? Can I drive the car and just go easy on the gas and watch the boost gauge? Also what are my CV replacement/upgrade options?

I need to get this outta the driveway really soon...

Bypass the CV for a quick fix, if you drive it with the line off, your wastegate will NOT open when you need it to. Bypassing the CV will allow the wastegate to still fuction.

Bypass it how? Just plumb the wastegate into a vac line?

Or do I take it from the banjo bolt to the wastegate?

I would have said to leave it off and drive gently, a turbo with no boost is actually slower than an NA car. It has lower compression, more restrictive exhaust , softer cam and taller gears.

Yea... but keep your foot in it and it go boom.

Best to leave it disconnected, or fed from the banjo bolt.

Best bet is to go directly from the wategate to the banjo bolt. This will allow you to drive it normally and not overboost. You will probably only see about 7psi boost tho.

Yeppers! Exactly what I did and I only read 1 bar...

Still looking for replacement options - reliaboost? Pros and cons...

Also been searching the forum for these answers - so far haven't been satasfied with the results (300+ posts viewed so far)

So I need some imput on my options-
I plan to eventually go MAP with a different turbo setup (Garrett t04e/KKK)... Do I want to keep the CV valve? I really have no need for adjustable boost inside the car... (full on works great!!! )

Any input (need to order the replacement tonight or early in the morning)

1 bar means no boost, no vaccume. The stock guage reads in absolute, 14.7(1bar) is atmospheric presure. You may want to get a new wastegate with you new turbo. I have no personal suggetions, but, everyone seems to be happy with their Reliaboost MBC. It should have instructions with it or on the site for ease of installation. Good Luck
