Hmm I think the proper way to do it would be to establish a weekly or bi-weekly TIME where we always play each other, and whoever hosts with lowest ping is best.
Personally I love playing just for fun and not worrying about serious competition.. I held a lot of world records on the stats server until people started cheating and that killed it for me.
Now I have to go mod my 88 Turbo S - the only thing it has going for it right now is a tuned suspension.

That's true.
I also remember playing with cheaters before on the main server, and it sucked. That's sort of why I enjoy playing with renn people - I know they won't cheat. If they do, I'll email John D and have their membership cancelled. Just kidding =)

Tried all the ides I could find,
Changing swap file size
Video setting
drooping AGP down to 2x from 8x
Deleting a dll.. etc..etc...
