Default 2 Fuel Pressure Gauge questions.

I am looking at getting a fuel pressure gauge for my turbo. I came across this at http://www.9xauto.com/pressure.html

I am not thrilled about tapping the endcap of my fuel rail seeing as any leaks will almost definitely cause huge problems. Does anyone have any experience with this piece. If it is as good as it appears to be then I think that I will be picking one up soon.

Also for the Fuel Pressure Gauge. It is my understanding that the liquid filled ones give more accurate readings and last longer. Where is the best place to buy one. I am looking for a quality that will last and be accurate but I would also like to pick it up for as cheap as possible.

Thanks,
John

You can use a the same sender as the oil pressure and get a calibrated VDO gauge to mount in the car. Electrical so no tubing going into the car.

As I have an early 944 I've always wanted to do something with the center speaker thing in the dash.

I bought Lindsey's fuel pressure kit, works basically the same as the 9xauto setup. I wanted it more for the adapter block than the gauge itself - that adapter makes it really easy (and SAFE) to then screw in any gauge or sender.

Just an update, recieved the Lindsey kit - it uses a stock tapped endcap, so nix the safety portion of my last reply. Still makes it really easy though.
