Default The ol' girl cleans up pretty well

I bought this car back in May. It sat outside non running for the last 10 years and generally neglected. I got it home and over the last few months have been going through the car making it right and have been enjoying driving it lately. The paint was horrid to say the least. The clear coat was mostly gone and I can't see painting it until most of the mechanical work I want to do to the car is done. Hoping some time this coming winter. So, I tried to do the best I could with the paint that I had. I used rubbing compound on the paint and got the oxidation off. Then I washed the car and applied a coat of wax. It went from oxidized to half was presentable. Good enough until I buy tires for the original Fuchs wheels that came on the car and finish the suspension.

Not that the interior is very clean. My son and I have been taking short trips in the car:
