As some have mentioned, check the plastic arm first. Another problem could be the sensor attached to the door handle. Ive seen posts about how that can be on wrong. Its a cheap part to replace also. Ive also seen posts that mentioned that the attachment from the plastic arm to the door lock needs to be adjusted properly as being to tight can cause problems. I think that is why I have intermittent problems. I changed the drivers side handle and noticed it was a little tight but figure that was ok and now I have wierd problems.
