Default WTB; Gauge Cluster Turbo

Well, you know what they say about the "law". After my 6th or 7th install of the white face gauges I finally broke a cluster, go figure it is mine! I am now in the market for a CHEAP gauge cluster for a Turbo. Condition is pretty unimportant so long as all the needles are there and the speedo works. Would benice if the ODO worked too.

I got a complete cluster for a turbo. The odometer is the only thing not working. PM me. I figure $50 plus shipping is fair?

I will let you know, I might just send this one out. The speedo broke, oddly the needle was fine, the damn tiny little metal shaft broke right in half. I have bent them before but have never seen one break.

Matt,I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago,e'mailed VDO and they gave me the name of a repair co. in N.Carolina. I sent them the whole pod and they did a quick fix and calibration of all gages for $271. If you need a name and address drop me an e'mail at,fwb42@hotmail.com......FRED

Thanks Fred, but there is no way I am going to drop 270 bucks to fix one gauge needle. I just going to buy a cluster but it looks like it will be after the 15th. One of the struts I just bought is bent (damn second hand parts) so I guess I will bite the bullet and buy some new ones.

Same thing happened to mine, broke the little tiny metal shaft, snapped right where it comes out from the speedo drive tube.

How did you fix it? Just replace the speedo with a used one?

As of now, it's not fixed - I epoxied the needle back on there REALLY carefully, seems to work, but I'm not sure - I am going to ultimately replace the speedo.
