When you figure out from the washers the width that you need, buy spacers of that width and new wheel studs that are longer by the same amount. I.E: if you need 1" spacers you need to also buy 1" longer wheel studs.

Forget about "adapters", they are more complicated and add weight plus the factory used spacers on our cars not adapters. Just buy regular good quality hub centric wheel spacers. Just wanted to thank you guys for your help and guidance in our struggle to fit these 19" rims. A special shout out to Magk944, we used your idea of washers and it worked great! Here are photos of my son's 1985 944 na on 19" Chip Foose.
