The 50 ft lb more torque at the wheels is really noticeable!

Yes, Tracey did both the street tune and WOT dyno tuning. He did the WOT tune a little on the safe side (a tad rich and not too much timing) since I'll be tracking it. So my numbers are a little bit lower than if he was going for peak power (street or drag racing tune).

Yea, Tracey seems like a pretty cool guy.

Just curious why did you decide on a 383 kit for the LS motor? I actually have gone the opposite direction with car with reducing motor displacement.

I spun a couple rod bearings last year at a DE, so I needed a bottom end rebuild. Went to Texas Speed's site and looked at forged rotating assemblies. It was about the same price for a stroker setup, so I bought it. I'm only revving to 6500, so I figured why not stroke it? LS motors seem happier at lower revs (water pump and oil control issues at high rpm), so a stroker gives me more torque where the motor is happy (below 5500 rpm, IMO). No peak horsepower benefit to speak of, but the car's already ridiculously fast.
