Default Hatch not closing

On one side of my hatch, it won't lock into the hole. How can I adjust this to make the pin lock into the hole?

Thanks

Grab a 13mm wrench, and some pliers. Grab the pin with the pliers and loosen the nut with the 13mm.

Turn the Pin with the pliers to make it shorter or longer, and then tighten the nut.

Ok, I looked at that and figured it was what i needed to adjust but I didn't know if anything else back there was adjustable. I'll try that.

Another thing you can adjust is the housing that pin sits in. Often crud and dry-rot rubber get in there, inhibiting the locking mechanism.

Also, on the inside of the hatch, there are two nuts that hold the housing in place: make sure they are tight.
