11s? It costs a few grand. That engine in the turbo Eclipse/Talon/Laser is the same engine as the new Evolution 8 that everyone was ragging on in the thread about it...it's a terrific engine.

Here is a parts list on how to make a 300 crank horsepower Eclipse.

If that were the case, 5252 rpm would HAVE to be at about 75 mph... so it looks like the thing is turning 9000 rpm (believable), and doesn't make power until around 7500...

Also, what's this STD Horsepower? Did they forget to SAE correct the measurements?
You're right. I didn't notice that. Typo maybe? It should be RPM.

My friend had an eclipse turbo and it was not that impressive. She would have had to mod the hell out of it to beat you. Did this eclipse look like a grande prix?? with the ugly plastic/rubber made side molding along the door? If so then you got smoked by an N/A Don't think that make turbo kits for those cars yet from what I have read, but who knows.

OH YAH and race this civic.

This is what I am shooting for with my Miata. It looks completely stock on the outside, except for sitting a bit lower. But under the hood it doesn't look very stock....In a couple of weeks when I get my bigger downpipe and catback I will be going to the dyno.. We will see what happens. At 8psi I think I will unpleasently surprise some ricers, and maybe some big american iron too

this was right when I did the install, please excuse the ugliness

Yes, they do make a spyder turbo. I have worked on a few. You can put a mitus in the 12's pretty easy. Low 13's are common. AWD will kill you out of the hole, but they don't top end like a FWD. www.dsmtalk.com and www.dsm.org are good sites also.
