Sooo I just recharged the system last week and now have stains on the carpet, Evap? Expansion valve? Does the dash need to come out to find out? This the area I wiped the oil off of.

the leak is the first problem.
there shouldn't be enough oil in circulation to have a dripping leak anywhere...it is basically compressor-only in liquid form.
overcharged? did the refrigerant come with oil in it too? where were your system pressures?

I mistook the identity of the substance leaking. It's actually my heater core. In order to get the amount of liquid I'm seeing the ac system would have to be empty, but it's working great and giving me 42 degree vent Temps. I got a better look at the fluid and it's yellowish and leaves my fingers sticky when dried. Nothing like the oil in the ac system. Tell tail sign of antifreeze though. I also thought I smelled it in the car last week.
So heater core means dash out I'm guessing?
