I'm about to purchase another set of wheels and have been doing searches to avoid posting this thread but I can't seem to find a definitive answer.
Will the following sizes work on my '90 cab (stock) without sticking out past the fenders?
18x8.5, +50
18x10, +52
I know I've read of some others running wider wheels on the front with stock fenders but I can't find those threads at the moment.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Mine is also a 90 cab. I am running 235/40 ZR 18 X 8 50et in the front.
I had to have a spacer machined to fit over the front wheel bearing dust cap which pushed the wheel out enough to avoid the dust cap.
It could be wheel specific. The inner diameter of my wheels(996 turbo twists) was/is smaller than the diameter of the dust cap. You could have the dust cap machined or the wheel machined to fit as another option.
I have a little room between my tires and the fender. Your wheels should fit if you can deal with the dust cap.

Thanks for the reply. I fitted a 17x9 +55 wheel on the front and it sat right at the fender but that was without a tire and I think once on the floor it'll tuck inside. I can't wait to get the wheels!

I have Porsche Sport Classic IIs 7.5"x18" ET 52 in the front running 225/40-18 tires and a 5mm spacer. (I needed the spacer to clear the hubcap.) They fit nicely and clear the fender but there isn't a lot more room. I feel certain I could go to an 8" wheel but I'm not sure about an 8.5" wheel. The fit there might be pretty tight. This of course is assuming I kept the 5mm spacer.
