Default Double checking on speaker fit for S2

I've decided to finally replace my old speakers that have crumbling cones in them. I think I have decided to go with the kenwood excelon's. I just wanted to double check that the sizes would be 4x6 in the front and 5x7 rear? Also is the depth ok on these for mounting. Fronts are 1 3/4" and the rears are 2 1/2".

Any installation issues I might run into?

I replaced the stock front units on my S2 cabrio with Kenwood DualMags 4x6 speakers and had no issues whatsoever. It was plug and play and back to 100% stock look, with the grilles and all.

These are 1-9/16" deep from the speaker lip to the back of the magnet. Your Kenwoods should be about the same if they're 4x6s.

I did my fronts with a pair from partsexpress.com 2 weeks ago, 1 3/4" depth, went in in a jiffy, whole job took me 15 minutes.

The upgrade was well worth it. I put in a pair of 160W 2-way Pyle speakers from parts express which were $30 with shipping.

I replaced my rear S2 speakers with same size 4x6.
