Default My new website

I just made a pretty lame-ish website about my 951. It pretty much includes just a (long) list of mods, 2 pics (for now), and my running commentary on the process of making the car in to what I want it to be. You can check it out here:

What are your plans with the car? With the filling jarring 600/400 lb. springs, & track rotors/pads, I do hope you plan on seeing some track time with it!!!

Nice car!

The car has seen some track time after the suspension was installed. That suspension and the alignment it has makes the thing handle so very very well - even with its heavy weight.

Once the new motor is in, I want to take it out and time trial it a few times, just so I can play with the power and traction control on a track. After that, its retired. The reason for the retirement can be found here: http://ieng9.ucsd.edu/~cswillia

The spring rate as its set up, isn't too bad on the street except in particularly bad roads. The only time its an issue with me is when they're doing road work and they remove some of the pavement, but still make you drive over it. They were laying some underground pipe near my place a few months ago, and driving over their work was painful, but there are just some things you put up with when you can take freeway onramps and offramps really fast

Chris,
don't know excately what is Nokia's company policy, but i have heard they don't like to be advertised in a forums like Rennlist. I know several people here in Finland who are working at Nokia's headoffice. These people hang around Rennlist too.....

WOW! That is one impressive list of modifications.

What are you using to control boost?

I couldn't tell from the site why it would be retired.

Also, the 1987 944S was a 2.5l engine, not the 2.7l your site lists, just FYI.
