I have been in contact with him and am going to pick it up. I was just wondering if anyone saw it in person. I'm buying it sight unseen so it is a bit of a risk but..... what the hell. Looks like good project.

It is fairly close to me but I just couldn't stomach having the conversation with my wife. It sounds like a fantastic deal. Did you close the deal? Keep us posted.

I had THAT conversation with my wife on Monday and it did NOT go well at all. I was ready to send the check and had spoken to the seller a few times last week. If only I could have kept my mouth shut but she would have noticed the missing $ in our checking account. And then I would have been dead. I even tried telling her that it could be her car and that went over even worse.

My friend lives near by and going to see it for me. I am heading down sat am. I'll keep this thread updated. And no I didn't ask the wife. Its going to be a gift for her when I finish it.
