I already checked the car out. The owner is an old acquaintance of mine. It is not what it looks on the picture as it has been sitting for years and there is plenty of dry rot on the rubber parts and rust on the rotors and other prone to rush metal parts. It will need some serious TLC to be put back on the road but it has potential.

Thanks for posting. That car has been stressing me out over how big a fight I was willing to have with my wife. If its in rougher shape than described I'm not nearly as enthused. The way it is presented you would think it just needs one fender painted and a good fuel system rehab.

Sure, no problem.
I recommend to everyone that is thinking to buy that car to take a look at it in person before making a final decision. I believe that its potential could be seen differently depending on who is looking at it.

As of now I am heading down sat am to pick it up. I have a friend going to look at it for me.
Did you look at the frame for any damage? Thanks

Remember fellows, when in doubt don't tell the wife anything. It's easier to get forgiven then it is to get permission I've been married for 31 years to the same woman and that's worked for me.

I'm glad it's worked out for you, but that's not how I operate. How many of those years have been happy?
