Default Picked up my 87 951 on Friday, good to be home

Picked it up in Chicago on Friday and drove it back to Atlanta last night and this morning. Uneventful trip, since it has a cage and recaros, I crammed the stock interior back in, and set off for home. The car is lowered with 250 lb weltmiester springs and koni adjustables so it was a little rough until I got to the smooth gerogia roads.

Looking forward to the track this fall, it is going to be great car for that.

All required maint., already done, belts, rollers, etc. etc. Already chipped but not sure whose chip is in it, need to pull the ecu to see.

waxing it today, and sorting out the extra parts, so far no dissapointments.

[How's your boy like it???]

He likes it fine, haven't gone for a ride yet. He showed it to some of his friends. He thinks it will be his someday now.

did the zaino today, the red paint has held up pretty good for 16 yrs, not showroom perfect but pretty nice. a clay bar treatment might help a little but I am more interested in driving it now.
