Default Brake conversion 944S to 944S2 (or turbo)

I have a Porsche 944S from 1987.
I bought a nice set calipers from a 944S2. ( Brembo 20.4672.00 )
I want to install this calipers on the front of the car.

Does anybody know of this calipers are "plug & play" and do fit?

Rotors are the same IMO

iirc you'll need struts, rotors, hubs, spindles and brake lines from and 87+ turbo or S2

There were a number of confusing changes over the years, that link doesnt make sense "S2 (85-88)" - there were no S2's in those years. Some changes were: NA rotors fit behind the hub, turbo and S2 fit over the hub, turbo/S2 rotors are bigger than na rotors, spindle caliper bolt spacing is different, spindle strut bolt spacing and thickness is different, flexible brake lines are different na to turbo/S2. You also have to consider the brake bias front to rear if you are just upgrading the fronts, S2's. It can and has been done many times but its not a plug and play mod.

Actually all you need is the 87-up 951 spindles and 951 rotors.
You can confirm by checking caliper bolt hole centers are 94mm between.

IIRC 87-88 951 and S2 brakes are the same. 86 951 was old offset, 89 951 had larger turbo s/928 brakes.

The 951/S2 rotors are not the same as the NA/S rotors.

Ok that does make it a lot simpler.
I will check this !

Is there no conversion plate or something to change the spindle to fit the 951 calipers?
Something like this: http://www.dvs.net.au/mazbrak3.jpg

Speaking as someone who's done this very thing...

You can re-use your hubs, save some coin. Get 951 spindles, calipers and rotors; you'll be good to go.

You can use your existing struts if you're not upgrading.
