Here's some footage from my sprint race yesterday. I only got to run the first race - I had a mechanical issue and could make the second race.



Short summary: qualified 7th in the wet; it stopped raining and dried out for the race, so I put on fresh tires; finished 1st!

That was impressive! I like the "apparently not" commentary lol. I'd like to get involved with this sort of racing. We have the mid-ohio track, but mostly i've only drag raced. Summit motor-sports park is in my hometown.

I was working Flag Station #7 at bottom of the downhill and was able to see Van grind down the competition! Worried a bit at the end if he was going to hold off the green/black car for the win as they spent a number of laps close and personal! Possibly more impressive was Van qualifying 7th after starting LAST in the 38 car pack as I remember. Probably missed false grid while getting a manicure or something....

Thanks for the compliments, Craig. I was plagued with electrical problems and had starting issues all weekend - and finally that prevented me from getting the car running for the second sprint race.
