Default FANS RUNNING

Hi guys.
Used the Clarks Garage test to check my relay and all was well so I bought a new thermo switch and installed it.

My fans still run all the time.

Any ideas. New switch bad?

Thanks

Did you test the switch (ohmmeter and hot water) before installing it?

You don't need to uninstall it to test. It should read infinite resistance at room temp, and almost zero at operating temp.

if you unplug the wires to the temp sensor and the fans still run, you can quit looking at the sensor
