GOBOGIE, Thanks for the approval. When I started the website I knew zilch about how to go about it and it took about a hundred hours of midnight oil burning to get it anything like half right.
Fairly happy with it now although I’m working on a possible replacement with loads of extra links and bells and whistles. If I spent less time on Rennlist I'd get it done much more quickly - but we must get our priorities right
Thanks for your appreciation
Bruce

I all truth I haven't been on Rennlist as much as I have in the past or as much as should be on. But my Girlfriend does complain a little when she comes over and I go up to the study to "just check something on Rennlist". After a while she will come up and just sit and watch me until I get off, but I don't let that bother me because I'm an ENTHUSIAST! Through it all she has come to love the Porsche cars too.

Wife last said something about smashing the computer. I wonder what she meant?

I guess since I work on Porsche's at a Porsche shop, commute to and from in my Porsche, then occasionally go to the track with the Porsche Club to drive the hell out of my Porsche only to have to stay late at work to do maintenance on my Porsche and after the kids are in bed end up on Rennlist for a bit to read about Porsche. I just don't see what the issue is..............sigh

When we brought the 944 home, a new acquaintance stopped by to take a look. After Chris had given him all the information about the car and they did their obligatory 10 minute "guy/car talk", he looked at me and said, "Chris's hobby is Porsches. What's your's?"

My reply? "Him".

The rennlist forums have certainly lowered my work productivity.

The girlfriend is pretty cool about me sitting at the coffee table with my laptop. Keeps me off the streets

As I told a buddy's wife when he took early retirement from a bank at age 45 - let him get a car to diddle with or he's gonna find SOMEONE to diddle with instead!!
