Default Question for Marc Gelefsky

I saw those pictures you posted of your speakers. I got a set of alpineplate speakers, and they stixk out about a 1/4", so i wanna get some new spaker grills that stick out a bit like yours. Where did you get those? Do they hit the dash when the door closes?

Thanks

Mike,

They came with the Audiobahn 4x6 speakers, they do NOT hit the dash at all.

Mark- Isn't it strange that you can pop in speakers that exceed the 1 5/8's size limit, but they don't hit the window guide, or the dash!? Those Audiobahns just bolt right onto the door frame. No gaskets, adaptors, etc!

That is odd, maybe we need to measure them?

I would hit a good Car stereo shop and see what they have laying around.
