Not molded around any core, only the screws are molded in. I have an NOS one for my 924S, and is it just like the one on my 911, flexible.

Holy crap. That would be stupid expensive. Not to mention you would need to find someone with a cnc big enough to have the lip. Not to mention labor from the engineer...carbon fiber maybe? $3k for a roll aint too bad...right?? ABS thats normally in a 3D printer would be cool. I have someprinted parts that are surprisingly strong for how relatively thin they are. If it was something low and thick like a lip, id trust it

Given the price I'd defiantly be interested!

If you go to the trouble of having them made, they should be in two pieces joined in the middle. This would make shipping them sooo much easier!

Over the next few months I'll stop into see a few glassers as well as an injection molding company and see what they say. Personally my comfort level for something like this would realistically be $250 - $300 depending on the construction. Anyone know how to add a poll to an existing thread?

I can't help you with the poll. That said, at that price point, I'd balk at it for a few minutes before ordering.

My only real concern with fiberglass is something that low could potentially get hung up and shatter. I would be willing to spend more on something that is flexible.

+1 You will definitely get more interest/buyers for a rubber splitter. I'm no expert but I would think making a casting mold for rubber would also be cheaper than creating a FG mold and probably require less finishing out of the mold.

Intrepidagent your car is beautiful, one of the nicest 944's I have seen. Did you successfully produce a replica? I am desperately searching for a FOHA splitter for my NA. I know this thread is old but your shop looks great. Will definitely consider one of your custom badges!
