Default Carbon Fiber lovers - check this out!

Kyle at Only944 just completed this for me - to say I'm over the moon about it is a gross understatement!

He told me he was experimenting with a leather/CF combination and asked would I like one for my S2...

Will obviously post photos of the install just as soon as I can. Gonna buy me a fancy golden shield an' all! :-)

Very excited!!

Ill be interested as to how easily this fits the ****.
The leather one I got from ebay is impossible to get all the way, so I'm looking at only944 now.

I'm getting set to do the complete Only944 shifter conversion, have the shifter kit, short shift kit, link kit and both boots from Kyle.
His hatch seal kit and the additional tail light kit both went into my car in under 15 minutes, smooth and flawless fitments both, so I'm looking forward to implementing this change.

I'll post a decent write-up with photos as I'm doing it, hard or easy.

I have Kyle's leather shifter boot and absolutely love it. Took me an hour or two of wrestling but most of the pain is getting it tucked in under the cap proprly. Getting it set correctly over the **** is easy.

I plan on getting some stuff from Kyle as well and maybe this might be one of them.

Does the **** separate from the boot? If yes, can someone post pictures of it?

Yeah it just pops out. There's two little plastic clips on it. You have like a 90% chance of chipping the top, so you might wanna look into the SS ones Travis sells for a replacement. www.rennbay.com

I have Kyle's leather boot and I love it. It went on pretty easily, and fits perfectly. Most important - it feels great shifting with it. It just needs a little bit of age and conditioning to feel perfect.

The low price is a bonus.
