si usara R134, el compresor requiere el aceite PAG46, ~6oz (~180ml)

para R12, un aceite especial de R12 es necesario, de misma cantidad

Si el vehículo fue previamente usando refrigerante R12 , y se están convirtiendo a R134a , entonces debería usar el aceite de Ester .

Si el vehículo estaba usando previamente R134a, entonces usted debe utilizar el mismo tipo de aceite refrigerante que se utilizó durante la conversión. Si se realizó el trabajo de conversión correctamente debe haber un color distintivo azul conversión R134a en alguna parte del compartimiento del motor, o conviene reiterar en el historial de pedidos de trabajo. If the vehicle was previously using R12 refrigerant, and you are converting to R134a then you should use Ester oil.

If the vehicle was previously using R134a, then you should use the same type of refrigerant oil that was used during the conversion. If the conversion work was done correctly there should be a blue colored R134a conversion sticker somewhere in the engine compartment, or it should be noted in the work order history. If you are in doubt of what type of oil was used then you should 'liquid ac flush' the lines, the condenser, remove the TEV from the evaporator and flush the evaporator core, you should not liquid flush the compressor, just dump what ever oil remains in it out.

If the vehicle was using R134a with PAG oil and you are converting back to R12 you will want to liquid flush the system as described above and use ester oil.

Don't forget to replace the reciever drier.

Total new oil required is 6 fluid ounces.
