Default Car will not start

Hi guys,
Just bought my first 87 944 na. I drove it about a hundred miles then parked it in the garage. Then tried
to start it one cold morning and it wouldnt fire just turned over, batterry died pretty quick. Next weekened changed the oil and charged battery. Still only turns over no fire. Read the posts on here for about a week and this is where im at.

Changed plugs .7 gap (new plugs)
Checked spark good
Checked gas at rail good
Replaced DME relay
I have tach bounce.
It seems to be sucking air but car has after market cold air intake
Sprayed starter fluid in cylinders but it only putted slightly.
Changed battery
Jumped dme with paper clip heard gas pump sounded like injectors working. Stilll no fire

Any thoughts?

hrmm.... Do you have the oem alarm? If yes, have you tried to bypass it?

If you can borrow a new dme/ecu from someone local I'd try that as well.

newguy81, I'm diagnosing a similar problem. Try checking the TDC and RPM sensors. Go to http://www.ecudoctors.com/porsche-94...1200058-a.html for a short video on how to do the check. All you need is a volt/ohm meter.

maybe time for Michael-Mount, Joshua or other guru to do a carb kit option for these dying, 30 year old cars.

I removed spark plugs and let set for a night. Put plugs back in and car started right up. Must have been flooded.
