ZYMOL or ZAINO ???
Which wax / glaze product do you use / prefer. Opinions seem to indicate these are the best http://www.nsxsc.com/nsexcitement/waxtest.html
I just applied 2 coats ZYMOL to the car and the appearance is amazing. Lot less work than glaze and carnuba too. Have my ZAIMO order arriving next week.

Zaino...you can put that stuff on and go 4 months before putting another coat on..apply the gloss enhancer after a wash and it looks so good..you won't go back to regular waxes after you try it!

Ian - the cup 2 look very good in that shade - I'm thinking of having mine painted in a titanium shade - especially since I dropped one of my polished rims onto the face recently! Did you paint them or send them out?? What paint / shade did you use?
Great looking car BTW.

Zaino - great stuff. its a bit of a pain to order, but they ship quickly and its ALL great stuff - so great that my girlfriends MOM even noticed that my car looked extra shiny after i switched - and she didn't know that i'd switched (from meguiars)...

Randy,
I did them myself, much cheaper and that feeling of doing something yourself is always a good one. The paint I used is duplicolor wheel paint, and I picked the graphite color. I really like how it sets the car off, something a little different than your average 951.....

Any chance you can email me a close up of the wheel - I'd like to see how you handled the transition from the curved spoke to the rim lip. Seems a bit tricky to get that right, as there's so many compound curves. If you have a photo, I'd aprpeciate if you could email it to me. Thanks!

Check out Gurureports.com. They will answer ALL of your questions about wax. I was a Zymol fan. Just an average wax, sad to say. Winner? Zaino for synthetic and PS21 for Carnuba. They even catagorized them by price. Turtle wax came out on top for their price! it's a must see report.

I used Zaino for the first time after the car got repainted (same color), and I was impressed! I used meguiars, Liquid Ebony, even this stuff called Butter Wax that I had to get a auto painter friend, and Zaino blew them all away! I love the fact that it was so easy to put on, and take off. I only used ~2.25 oz. for 4 coats in two days! And I had to waste that last quarter because I had to leave it set for more than 12 hours with the catalyst (activator) mixed in. The car wash solution is the also by far the best I have used, and I even like their Spray Enhancer more than the Wizards spray I used to use...and I liked that over everything up to this point. Try the Zaino Bros...you will not be disappointed at all. Even with the epoxy type bugs around these parts...drive in the rain after using Zaino, and voila....a clean front end! They do have a toll-free order # now too...I had to call Zaino direct to get it though because it was such a new number.
No affiliation....just a satisfied customer!
Ian: Love the color combo on the rims...looks fantastic with the red!
