The mall I used to work at has the highest car theft rating in N.A. I kid you not. Here was my old honda accord before she was stolen.
Before
After
As you can see I really hate thieves. The engine was quite peppy. suspension was great. TONS OF MODS ones that actually made the car preform. Lots a $hit load of money in that car when it was stolen
Now I have S2 and am quite happy

Bet the Honda was cheaper to run though.
Two blocks from my house yesterday I saw a BMW sitting on its brake discs in a driveway with a police car and tow truck parked beside chatting to the owner.
The area is noted for the number of high-end cars that go missing, but that's the first time I've ever seen a wheel heist from someone's driveway around here. Now that takes *****.

The S2 is way better than the honda!
The theft rate in Surrey is the higest in North America. Can you believe it? At least on the bright side you can likely find your car at one of the indo-dealerships around town within the next weeek...

Hehe, actually I have to admit I've done the "car on blocks" once before..
In college (There that explains the whole thing) my buddy actually ran over my roomate at the arby's drive though.. (My roomate rolled over his hood and roof of his old school civic) so in retaliation, we went to his dorm at 2am and jacked his car and took his all his wheels. He had class that morning half way across town.. it was pretty funny..

Peckster, don't count on it being much if any cheaper. Honda's are Hella expensive to maintain. At least the preludes are. Piece for piece my honda has been as much or more than parts listed for a 944. With one huge exception I have seen so far. The clutch replacement on a 944 is just an insane amount for that job. That is really a bunch of B.S. anyway they jack the prices up so high since they don't sell them that often. Most parts will last as long as you own the car. They have to make their money somewhere and being serviced is where it's at. I'm not saying it cost more or the same to maintain a Honda because for most people they have to replace very little unless they have a high milage trade in. Those people are the ones that get screwed. Believe me I know first hand.
