Hey that sounds like a plan.

Hey Josh where in Norcross are you located? I used to live on Jimmy Carter Boulevard about a block from Barnacles.(former employer also)

I'll bring some dessert or choice side item. I would be in for the rally too and an auto X. I would like to see my driving skills put to the test.

The rally is all at street speeds (timed event where you get points for arriving seconds early/late or missing a 'checkpoint' ~ lowest points win). There's no driving skill involved - it's all navigating skills. And the AutoX is for RC cars, held in a garage. Some driving skills... but I'm MUCH more bold with my $30 rc car than I Ever would be with a real car.

Well - sounds like we've got a plan then. Brian - I suppose beer bottles would work but I think the HRK's car would just smush them

John - I live right in downtown Norcross - not far from the park and the RR tracks.

During initial tests this weekend cones were not a problem for this car either ) Anybody need new lawn?

I can bring it over for show but I'll dig something prudent from archives to autocross with.

Sounds good, hope nothing special comes up.

Haven't see any posts on this in a while. I'd be interested in taking a drive down there. I'm always looking for someplace to drive to..

By the way, if the meet is still on, and anybody is interested, I just took off the 16" phone dials off my car. If anybody is interested in them, I can bring them with me. The rear rubber size, which is on the front rims (PO don't ask), have Bridgestone Potenza 910's with probably 95% rubber, the rears, same size tire but on the rear 8" rims, have the potenza 900's with probably 20% tread. Rims do need refinishing, but aren't scrapped up, but apparently they are bent, but just balanced and I didn't feel any shaking from them. I really don't want them, so I'll get rid of them for cheap..

Josh, you want some RSVPs so you have a good guetimate of how many of us will be there?

I'm coming with my Fiance, probably bringing sweets (cookies or brownies for everyone - depends on how many people are going to show), RC car for the AutoX and my 951 (if it's back on the road by then - I've found 4 broken bolts in the last week).
