Why would you put 20" wheels on a 944?

But the latest Porsches all come with 18"-20" rims to fit those big rotors. Bigger rims are heavier and have a higher moment of inertia, but they can house bigger brakes and usually wider tires. It's a trade off.

Yeah, but also latest Porsches have a different more modern suspension set-ups which account and are designed for bigger wheels...

IMO all chrome rims look cheap. Polished alloy is something else, not that I have the patience.

Polished alloys are fine until you pick up the wrong wheel cleaner from all the ones you bought and ...... don't ask me why Brian.. I'm still polishing.... and that's after the sanding when the first one I finished fell over onto the concrete driveway.. shiny side natch ... ouch!
