Default help find offset for early 85 944 na

Hello, I am trying to find the offset of my front and rear axle so I can determine the size spacers I might need in order to fit my 19inch rims?

Thank You,
Adam

Pull the wheel off and look inside. Usually on the spokes there is a stamped/raised figure preceded by the letters "ET".

Ok thank you but I am trying to figure out the offset of my actual car. Would you happen to know for a early 1985 944 NA?

It's 23.3 front and rear for an early car. To determine if your wheels will fit you will need to know their width and offset. With basic math you can find out if you need spacers or not.

The car doesn't have an "offset" only the wheels. Early cars like yours had stock 23.3 offset wheels at the front and either 23.3 or 10.6 offset on the rear depending on the wheels fitted.

So say you fit 50 offset wheels they may fit with spacers but you have to also consider the width as admiralkhole states. Too wide and they will either rub the fender, the suspension or both even with stock offset.

Plenty of wheel calculators online to help you figure it out, do a search.

Dude, just post the friggin specs of your 19" rims on here and we'll figure it out for you. I've seen multiple threads on the topic and you won't say what the wheel's specs are. That's all that matters.

I can't figure out just why anyone would want to put 19 inch wheels on a 944, but then I'm from a different generation. The 944 rides butt rough enough with 17 inch wheels as it is. I guess it is just what ever trips your trigger type thing. My best of luck to you.

Cheers,
Larry

It's definitely not a "youth" problem! It's a problem with a certain culture group or two.
