Default FS: '83 manual steering rack, sport option

Video has pretty much all the information:

I will add that there is a bolt you can turn to dial out all play in the steering. I took apart the mechanism and re-lubed it (as I thought it took too much force to turn the pinion shaft) but ended up putting it back to how it was configured. It's a spring-tensioner mechanism, and works perfectly. However, I noted that taking it down to practically no play increases the force needed to turn the pinion shaft by a significant amount. Not so much much that steering would be stressful, but you'll feel it.

$275 OBO

quick tip to the manual steering-ists, make sure your tires are aired up, it makes a world of difference in steering effort...as i just realized, having added 10 (!) psi to each tire to bring them to spec.
