Default Will an S2 intake bolt up to an 8 valve head?

Wondering if the bolt pattern is a match? Not concerned about port match unless its crazy off. Also does anyone make a poly isolator for 944/951 heads?

TIA

Broken

On a 2.7 head, it should.

Should have been more specific. Will it fit a 2.5 NA head?

No it won't, the pattern is different. If it did you would see a lot more 16v turbos I think.

All of the 16v engines have different patterns for intake and exhaust.

I don't think it does, the 2.7 still uses the 8v intake and exhaust right? . The head changed so it could bolt to the 3L block, but the rest stayed the same i thought.

2.7 heads have larger intake ports (and intake valves) than 2.5 heads. When using a turbo intake on a 2.7 head the intake needs to be ported to match the head.

Below is the link for the Phenolic Spacer Kit you asked for... (second item down on the page and for a NA Or Turbo head Only)

He asked if the intake manifold would bolt. The height is different but the gasket shape and most of the threads should match.

Would a phenolic spacer even be much benefit to an NA car?

I understand getting every bit of heat separation is beneficial, especially in turbo applications, but I feel unless you're very serious about racing the difference in an NA car would be negligible at that cost.

Most of the bolts? You might be reaching a bit on the "It works" thing here. Wouldn't you have some fun vac leak issues potentially?

Where did I say it works? I said it should bolt up and most bolts should match, which was the OP's question. He never asked if it works.

Please reread.

Most disappointing answer ever.
