Default Radiator magic?

I did a coolant pressure test last night, its leaking at as low as 5psi!

The radiator is wet, but all the hose/radiator connecter are dry.

Here is the weird part. I took the radiator out, fill it with water and blow it by mouth, its holding the pressure!

Did I miss a connector? or I am not blowing hard enough? Or there should be something else?

thought I can blow 15psi by mouth.

next question... will you replace just the radiator or replace all hose with silicon hose at the same time?

I was afraid this post was going to go down that road. BTW, your clamp is going out today. See my post on my installation.

What type of clamp are you sending? Hopefully it has rubber coated gripping surfaces.

Would this happen to be with the radiator that's been in your car for 30 years?

Most likely source of your leak, being the hoses/clamps are dry, is the aluminum-to-plastic interface at one, or both, of your end tanks.

Probably not [permanently] repairable...
