I'd prob. just sit there dumbfounded at the disrespect, but if I had enough sense, I'd pull him back to his windshield and point to the "N" in his serial number and tell him "See, . . yours is an Audi too" then, walk away.
My first of the breed was a 924S and one day in the parking lot at work, the "guy-that-nobody-likes-because-he-talks-way-too-much" mentioned "Nice car, . . . Too bad it ain't a real Porsh". I made him repeat it, since he liked to talk too much and he embellished it with his sources. I guess a mechanic friend of his told him some distorted story about the 924 history and he just regurgitated it. Since he would know more about it than me since he was a "Porsh mechanic" (kinda like being an "engine-builder". . .) I just said "oh, OK" and mused on his arrogance.
I just take comfort in that soon, inevitable event when these people open their mouth in mixed company and end up looking really foolish - usually it's regarding another subject but does it matter?

What an idiot. If you see him again, tel him to shove this "T" where the sun don't shine and then flip him the bird. I simply can't stand people like that.

Jim 944S - Boca is such a sweet place for cars. I go down there all the time...in fact, that is where I stayed after I bought my 951 in Miami. For me, it couldn't have been more fun to cruise up and down Federal Highway the first day I got to drive it. Boca has Ferrari and Porsche dealerships everywhere nearby, and to live there, I swear you need to own at least one sports car. Every home I saw had a Boxster or Corvette in the driveway - I swear. I even saw my first F50 down there...and a McLaren!

But seriously I NEVER wanted a 911, back when I was in my twenties and all the car mags were raving about the 944 I never dreamed I could afford one.
And yeah that guy is dork, much like the kid cut me off last night - I'm in the Hyundai he's in a tricel - I flip him the bird - he stomps on the brakes - I drive around - stop at intersection - he pulls along side - gives me the gand banger hands in air shug sholders move then hops out - he's like 17 120 lbs - I'm 46 200 lbs - I tell him to get back in his car I'm not going to fight him.
I guess we do get smarter with age (I did want to kick his *** though).

I guess you could always just pop the hood for the guy... and point out the big "PORSCHE" letters on the long 2.5 litre valve cover.
I got this "Audi" comment quite a lot with my old 87 924S... opening the hood always did the trick
Anyway, the guy was plainly stupid, and a dork

I told the young kid at work I'd break him in half if he called my car a wannabe Ferrari again... but then, I guess I'm kind of mean LOL

Or maybe he has a problem with the size of his unit!
Also: I believe the current Audi S4 would be a close match to his turbo, and it wouldn't bet stuck in the snow!

Revoke his Porsche ownership? Last I checked, the only thing you had to do to have the right to own a Porsche was pay the asking price, just like any other car. Maybe we should all get over feeling like we're better than everyone else because of how highly we regard our cars and let everyone else do their own thing.
