Please do it on Saturday, as I don't want to miss the main event at yet another 944 gathering due to having to travel back to KC on th eday of the event so I can be at work on time on Monday...

I could do it at my place on 8/2 if anyone is interested. There is also a car show in Ottawa on the 3rd if anyone wants to go (or show). I have to take my kids to the airport on 8/3, so I'm out of the show. What do people wanna do?

fine by me.. I'll start making the arrangements.
we can shoot for Saturday, August 2nd at Starved Rock state park. There is plenty of parking, lots of photo ops, 3 other state parks real close and LOTS of twisties.. Bring a bathing suit if you would like to bask in a waterfall- or good hiking boots if you wanna do some trekking. Geocaching is also there. Camping is available, as are cabins and hotel rooms- check for availability of the "finer" accomodations.
and everyone thinks Illinois is flat..lol

I cannot get out of working Sat. So Sunday would work for me. I get out of work Sat at about 9-9:30pm. Friday I am going up to the EAA Oshgosh fly-in. I certainly am looking forward to the IL meet.
