Default 88 & 89 944na...differences???

What are all the differences between the 2 year models? Not the S2 or 951, just the 2.5 na and the 2.7 na. Whats the hp difference? Does the 89 have ABS? Does anyone know production #'s for the 1989 2.7l cars? I just lucked into and '89 and I'm interested in finding out more about it.

Thanks

the 89 has I believe 162 hp and 166 flbs of torque as opposed to the 88 with 158hp not sure on the torque. My car does have abs. It was also the most expensive Single Cam NA produced. This website has alot of info. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/3322/index.htm

Mike,
I'm really close to saying yeah! Need to get the AC fixed, but it is really growing on me! I never keep anything for long, though. There is always something out there that I think I have to have. Grass is always greener, you know. I am considering a Harley, tho. My wife would rather I keep the 944, but I haven't ridden in 5 years, and that has its appeal too. Just keeping my options open. There will always be a place in my heart for these 944/951/968 cars, though! I've said it before and I'll say it again: best bang for your buck you can buy! Hard to convince the guy in the WS-6 TransAm wearing the Dale Earnhart shirt and listening to Lynrd Sknrd of this simple fact!
