Default Torque specs for exhaust nuts

I'm finishing my lindsey 3" exhaust but I can't figure how much do I torque the 3 nuts that secure the flange and copper gasket?

I don't know id Lindsey has a spec on that... but M8 threads (13mm head) should be torqued to about 15 ft. lbs. unless otherwise specified. Which, on a hand tightening scale, where lugnuts are a #10, that would be about a #2 or #3.

Really 15lbs for those 3? I would have thought much tighter, it's an 18mm nut. But if the studs are 13 and that's what is spec'd then so be it.

The shop manual spec is 20 nm or about 15 lb. ft.

+1, those were 15mm on mine assuming you're talking about the downpipe nuts.

Yeah the downpipe. Part "1" to part "6"above. The nut was captured and the captured nut was 18 mm. At least that's what fit. They looked stock and the exhaust was definately stock.
