Hi folks.... If you are going to use images from a Vendors website, or any website - please ask permission to use it first from the vendor/or website owner, OK??
Thanks!

I've got one of the momo combats on. I bought the adapter so that it would fit from VertexAuto.com, who went ahead and ordered the shift **** and mailed it to me as well. (along with a new shift boot and the rubber one under it i ordered ). The **** feels great for what it's worth, the install is a piece of cake too

Here's one of the Boxster Tequipment 5 speed shifters installed in my car. I like the feel, but I wish the insert was metal and not plastic. The 6 speed Tequipment ****fter has an aluminum insert and a crest, but it is $300.
All you need is a new 944 boot, about 2 days of working the leather over the ****, some trimming, and you are all set. It even has the rectangular insert, and rubber cushions for anti vibration.

I paid 70 for my Momo Combat **** and 15 for the adapter. I've since gone back to the stock shifter though because the Momo vibrated and rattled like crazy. I replaced the bushings, shift lever, everything and it still did.

do what i did:uninstall your shifter, cut the shifter to where it bends(or a couple of mm's before that),get a 15mm steel rod(1.5-2 inches long) and weld it on.i did this all for free(luckly i had an uncle that welds).ill take a snap shot of my shifter mod later.hope this helps.....BTW...some tuners are selling this exact mod for $100,so if you can spend less than that doing it urself then go for it.

I got the AGLA shift boot. Very nice quality. It takes a little cutting and trimming to get it to fit the ****, and lots of working the leather into the proper position. I would recommend getting the leather a little damp and use your thumbs to mold the leather into place. You will need to moisten it, move it, then let dry 6 or 7 times before it will hold it's shape and stay in place on the ****. Take your time, or you will tear the boot.
Here's the website. http://www.aglausa.com/ Boot is $55.

Yup.. snag one from e-bay. You'll need to throw away the boot, so get a used one that has no wear on the ****. New ones show up now and then, usually about $75, used ones somewhere about $30.
