Tan Seats for Sale
I am getting ready to put my interior back together next week. Putting in new Sport Seats and carpet and stuff.
Brfore I throw these onto ebay, I thought i would see if anybody here needed them.
They are manual seats out of a 1984 944. They are a Tan/Flesh color in vinyl. The PO had some water on the floor and the rails got a little rusted. I have oiled them up and they slide OK.
There are no rips, tears or splitting seams. I am pretty sure that the PO recovered them at some point. I DID NOT. They match the orig rear seats pretty close , but I can't tell you what Porsche color they are. The passenger seats looks crooked, but it is the vinyl that needs to be pulled down or straighten out.
Both of the release ***** work.
The 3 problems I have found with the seats are: <1>Drivers side only, one of the three large bolts at the hinge connecting the bottom and the back is either stripped or is the wrong size. You can pull it out with your fingers. <2> Both seats recline OK, but the big recline **** will not stay on for any length of time. It does not look broken, I just can't figure it out. <3> The plastic trim piece by the recline **** on both seats will not stay on either. There are two small plastic tabs that seem to be worn. They stay on for about a day.
Shipping would be in 2 boxes, guessing about 20.00 each.
email me if you have other questions. They will be going on ebay in about a week.

Nick,
They are a light tan kinda flesh color. I have not boxed them up yet, but when I got my sport seats shipped to me it was about 25.00 per box. These are smaller and lighter, so I am estimating/guessing it would be about 20.00 per box X 2 boxes.

Do you live in Steerling Green Village? Wilersly (sp?) Lane I believe is the road. The pictures look exactly like my old house some 13 years ago when we use to live in Houston.

Nick....sent you email. 2 messages.
dan87951....house is in Kingwood, up north by airport. It's my girlfriend/SO house. Where the P car lives!!!!
It will be another week till I can part with the seats. Thought I had the leak fixed at the battery tray.....but alas...it is back. Going for the full treatment, full fiberglass inlay. THEN the new carpet goes in....finally...
sorry I have been outa touch on the board...working a 4 day trip.
